BioIonix, Inc. manufacturers a breakthrough process that solves many of the liquid stream disinfection challenges faced by food processors and other large industrial water users worldwide. The system's rugged design meets 3A sanitation standards and is fully CIP (clean-in-place) cleanable. USDA approval has been received for demanding meat and poultry applications.
Based on a decade of intensive research and development, the BioIonix process disinfects and oxidizes contaminants in liquid streams by applying a propriety electrochemical field to the liquid as it passes through the reactor module. An advanced automated control system monitors flow rates, power delivery and other parameters to provide reliable performance while minimizing energy use.
The BioIonix process effectively disinfects turbid and colored liquids, liquids containing solids, and those with high organic loads. It eliminates the need for for expensive chemicals and there are no moving parts to fail. The company's exclusive hybrid AC process and ceramic catalytic plates permit long running times at high energy efficiencies without fouling.
The BioIonix process can be applied to many disinfection and water reuse applications. The following are some applications currently being commercialized.
